Gold Plated and Gold Filled Jewelry
Each Reluxe Vintage design is unique and require delicate handling. Although our jewelry is tarnish resistant, we strongly recommend avoiding moisture and getting your jewelry wet to prolong the quality and longevity of your jewelry. Certain materials, and especially gold plating can tarnish over time when exposed to chemicals and moisture such as the shower, pool, ocean, hairspray, perfume, lotions, etc. It is recommended to keep your jewelry away from these situations as much as possible.
How do I take care of my jewelry?
We suggest removing your jewelry prior to showering, swimming, exercising, etc. Please also avoid any contact with perfumes, lotions or hair products, as they contain chemicals and oils that will increase the wear on your pieces. Do not use harsh chemicals, bleach, oil, jewelry cleaners, or polishing cloths, as this can damage the finishing.
Can I shower or swim with my jewelry?
For best care, do not shower or swim with your items. Keep jewelry in a cool dry place and always remove before bathing.

Reluxe Vintage is not responsible for any tarnished or damaged jewelry as we cannot guarantee you followed our jewelry care instructions. If your item is damaged during the shipping process, you must contact us within 3 days of delivery with provided photos of damage. If you don’t follow our jewelry care instructions and your jewelry does tarnish overtime, we are happy to refurbish your item for a fee.
